Modesty in terms of appearance for me means avoiding looking, wearing, or dressing in a manner that might look inappropriate or too revealing. Modesty is looking a certain way that is not sexually provoking or attractive that a man would look at me with desire.
Modest wear makes me feel protected, honestly. I know that I am not provoking any kinds of thoughts and if there is ever an interest in me, it is because of my person not what I wear.
I encourage women to dress more modestly in an age where little clothes are worn and lots of harassments are happening. I am all for women choosing what to do with their bodies and how to dress them, but at the end of the day, it’s a feeling. And I feel good in my modest outfits.
